In celebration of finally updating my wordpress from 1.5 to 2.0, which was long long overdue, I am attempting to write a post, also overdue. So lets see.. whats new?

My First BC Interview? - In a strange turn of events I received an IM the other evening asking to be intereviewed. Why someone would want to interview me is beyond me, but i did my best to be interesting. You be the judge.

Pineapple Express - For some reason i am really looking forward to Apatow’s new movie Pineapple Express. Maybe it’s the theme song by Huey Lewis.
Step Brothers - Is it me or are Will Ferrell’s movies getting worse and worse. Either way I want to see this movie

Hi there,
I have both a free hosted wordpress.com blog and a self-hosted wordpress install. Given all the security holes is the earlier versions as well as the bugs I’m absolutely astonished that it took you this long to upgrade to 2.0.
Aren’t you aware that 2.3.3 is a stable release? And aren’t you aware that the 2.5 upgrade is just about to be released? Upgrading is not a formidable undertaking and you will find posts on my blog that will assist you to come on board with the rest of us.

by 2.0 i did mean 2.3.3, I would have to be a nut to spend my time upgrading to a version other than the latest stable.
As far as upgrading it was extremely easy using the shell, just did a wget and a un-tar and i was done. took all of 2 minutes. I use this blog so scarcely that i never felt worried enough to upgrade. It was all the spam and spam trackbacks that made me upgrade though.

I’m feeling the widget itch as well, so thanks for linking to Tony’s blog. I like the “my communities” widget and will be adding it to mine, which will also encourage me to grow the list. Also thanks for dropping by!

Maybe Will’s movies are getting worse, but he and John C. Reilly do make me laugh.
