Squirrels
I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since my last post. This blogging stuff is hard, i don’t know how anyone can do multiple posts a day. The BlogCatalog team all flew up to L.A. for some Tony Robbins seminar/brainwashing/thing so i may just kick back for few days and keep an extra eye on things until they get back.
Music
About a month ago i won a box of old records from a seller on Ebay. Sadly, the seller’s mother died around the end of the auction and it wasn’t until last week that he was able to ship out my records. When the paper box of records arrived today i was a bit surprised to see what 99 cents can get you on ebay. All in all my record collection is now 7 LPs and 18 78s heavier. The lot of records turned out to be quite diverse, i think it was the Star Wars album that made all the waiting worth it:
Blogs
MrBaconpants.com - I found this blog through the BlogCatalog Social Search about a week back. I must say that I am surprised with the quality and consistency that this guy can blog about bacon. Anyone up for a late night bacon run? hit up my cell!
Jake and Amir - I briefly found Jake and Amir through one of the gawker blogs a while back, but have spent the last few weeks trying to remember their names. Alas, my brother came to the rescue; The things he chooses to remember baffles me.
Pictionary from Amir on Vimeo.
Movies
Sarah Marshall - My New favorite website. Enough Said.
Fanboys - Star Wars + Kristen Bell = My new all-time favorite movie!
Other
The Manchester Transfer - If you understand this shirt than you are okay by me. back and forth.
SOBcon - It seems I’ll be attending SOBcon 2008 in Chicago come May. Not really sure what it’s all about but to my disappointment SOB does not stand for what you think it does.

If I had known you collected albums and singles we could have shipped them out to you. As it is they are at the bottom of the burning bin.

You’ll love SOBCon. I went to the first one last year. It was incredible.
That Star Wars album looks sweet.

I can do multiple posts a day especially if Iam bored but not when I am busy. People sometimes do multiple post a day when doing paid posts… Annoying sometimes to read but, they make money from it… Thanks for taking a quick galnce on my very new domain.. Still doing a lot of work

Hi there. Great buy at Ebay. I must confess that I am a complete dweeb about Ebay. I love the look of your site. I have a Tony Robbins tape but I don’t listen too often since all that motivation tires me out. I think he melts my brain a little and it leaks out my ears.

Great albums. The “Empire Strikes Back” is astonishing.
All the best.

I finally got to listening to that Star Wars album last night. Really strange concept for a album. It’s basically audio clips from the movie combined with narration in order to retell the story. kind of like a movie on vinyl. I’ll see if i can’t upload part of it.

In 3rd grade when The Beatles came to the US. By 4th grade, Beatlemania a serious concern at my house. Your acquisition of Meet the Beatles brings back sweet, sweet memories! Were your EBay albums in good shape? I’ve got about 1,000 in my basement, but some, unfortunately, are warped and scratched.

So, you’re into record collecting eh? I’m just curious, in your own opinion, which sounds better, CD or vinyl?

Congrats on your find! Sometimes I stumble across good deals like that, too. The Beatles album you have there is a real gem! Have you tried them to see if they are functional still??

@theoneandonly - vinyl just has a different sound. not sure if it sounds better, but it sounds very different from a CD.
@kimbathewhitelioness, @scholastic scribe - the albums aren’t in the best of shape, they all play but some skip and pop more than others. overall though a great deal for 99 cents.
